| Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices |
|
 |
This non-credit course provides learners with the skills required to select appropriate device(s) to meet system requirements, and to install, configure, and operate LAN, routed WANs and switched networks. Learners explore Cisco IOS™, Virtual LANs (VLANS), Access Control Lists, Bandwidth on Demand (BOD), and Dial-on-Demand Routing (DDR), Point-to-Point (PPP), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and its two levels of service, Basic Rate Interface (BRI) and Primary Rate Interface (PRI), Frame Relay, and Fiber Distributed-Data Interface (FDDI). Together with Networking Basics for Cisco (CXNA101), this course may assist learners in preparation for the Certified Cisco Networking Associate 640-802 exam. It is strongly recommended that students complete Networking Basics for Cisco (CXNA101) or have equivalent Cisco networking experience before taking this course.
