This course has been updated to the 2009 exam objectives for the January 2010 term. This non-credit course will provide learners with an understanding of the hardware components of a PC and the necessity of combining computer hardware with an appropriate operating system. Learners will explore the role of each component, and will obtain hands-on experience assembling and troubleshooting PCs, installing operating systems, and configuring and securing a basic network. This course may assist learners in their preparation for writing the CompTIA A+ certification exam. There is no pre-requisite for this course.
