NOTE: This course is Flash 5 ready. Flash Advanced is a class for designers and budding developers familiar with the Flash environment. In this non-credit course, students will produce an engaging Flash interface using text, graphics, animations, video, and sound. Advanced Flash user interactions are taught employing hand-coded ActionScript behaviours. The learner will focus on the essentials of Flash design and ActionScript, and will learn to emphasize best practices throughout the course. This course picks up from the Flash component introduced in course CXCP185, Creative Suite for the Web, and develops skills learned in CXCP673, JavaScript, to continue to build and develop rich media applications for boththe web and stand alone applications. It is strongly recommended that students complete courses CXCP663, AND CXCP185, AND CXCP673 or have equivalent experience before taking this course.
