JavaScript, an interpretative programming language that can be embedded into HTML, enhances the document by creating an interactive experience between a user and a web browser.
In this non-credit course, learners will obtain hands-on exposure to JavaScript concepts, including variables and functions, event handling, operators and statements. Students will gain experience with Dynamic HTML, creating a dynamic web site using multi-dimensional objects, navigational menus, and controls. It is strongly recommended that students complete CXCP663 (HTML and Cascading Style Sheets) or have equivalent experience before taking this course.
